Notes from Alumni

  • John Tighe, who served five years at FMC Devens starting in 2015, wrote for Frank Report (2022): "Devens looks good from the outside. Inside, it's a deteriorated old military base with broken toilets, bad heating, and all sorts of other mechanical and structural problems."
  • A former inmate on Brand316 recalled billionaire Raj Rajaratnam using his wealth to "have his laundry done by other inmates, have his cell cleaned by others, and get the best food possible."
  • A COVID-era inmate described on Brand316: "It was clear that our lives were expendable." When they had pneumonia, "it was ignored for three days" and "quickly turned into a partial collapsed lung, 2 weeks in a hospital, and several surgeries."

Please remember that experiences are unique and may not reflect today's experience.
